Kate is a Columbus, OH born performer, producer, and director who recently graduated from Indiana University studying with her BFA in Musical Theatre with a Minor in Arts Management.
Over the course of her undergrad, Kate was able to work in many facets of theatre. She served two years as Artistic Director of IU's undergraduate-run student theatre company, University Players. She made her directorial debut directing and choreographing an independent project entitled One Night Only, and went on to assist Broadway's Jerry Dixon in directing a new musical, Modern, at Bloomington Playwrights Project.
In the summer of 2021, Kate pursued her love of circus arts by working as member of the Circus Staff at French Woods Festival of the Performing Arts. The following two summers, she served as the Assistant Producer at The Southeastern Summer Theatre Institute alongside Producer, Ben Wolfe.
When she is not busy rehearsing or putting up a show, she loves to bake fresh bread, flex her amateur bartending skills, cook some mean pasta from scratch, and hit the bouldering gym.
Kate recently wrapped up work on Ragtime at Columbus Children's Theatre where she was part of the New Rochelle Ensemble as well as the understudy for Mother.
Kate is now currently performing as part of Busch Gardens Williamsburg's Christmas Town celebration, in Scrooge No More!, the musical retelling of Charles Dickens' A Christmas Carol. You can catch her as Mrs. Cratchit through the first week of January
